Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. Have I said... gorgeous?! I've been dying to visit this vineyard for a long time now... I can't believe it took a wedding for me to finally get there, because I'll be rushing back for their tour/tasting as soon as I can. What an incredible location! If you have the time, do visit the Jonathan Edwards Winery in North Stonington, Connecticut.
Many thanks to my dear Robin Dini for inviting me along to the beautiful wedding of Christine and Kevin on Saturday.
Would you look at this? Before I even GOT there, I pulled over to snap this.
I really cannot recommend it enough. Just a beautiful place all around... (and they have a grape stomping contest every year!)
I popped upstairs briefly for the getting ready shots and quickl snapped a couple... the proud mom of the bride!
The anticipation of everyone arriving...
The usual flurry of 'getting ready' activity...
And it was off to shoot the boys!
The happy groom!
Mmmm... beer in a winery.
And we were off!
I have never laughed so hard during a ceremony... the minister was so JOVIAL and fun!
Whew! Got through the vows!
Adorable.
And fun details afterwards!
Christine's 92 year old grandma! I just loved the juxtaposition of generations...
Wouldn't be a winery if not for some GRAPES! (I was on the hunt for some salty ones, but came up empty handed.)
A little "behind-the-scenes" of Robin in action!
OK, so this was in between portraits... I just loved how everyone seemed to be doing something completely different. And really, don't you love the way the blue pops against the vineyard colors?!
The wine was plentiful!
Cheers!
As Robin would say... "Come on!!!!"
Love.
Gorgeous flowers by ZuZu's Petals...
OK, doesn't this look like a stick figure person?!
And the fun commenced!
Who was up for a little "limbo"?
The skies opened and it poured, thundered, and lightening'd...
Did anyone care? Nope!
Certainly not these two!
Thank you Christine and Kevin for including me in your absolutely incredibly gorgeous day, and thanks again Robin for having me along! =)

Wedding ::: 06.13.09 ::: Saybrook Point Inn, Old Saybrook, CT
Woohoo! Wedding #2! Where, once again, the weather started out sketchy, and turned out gorgeous! The rain gods were definitely smiling on Kate and Eric as it was a gorgeous, sunny day at the Saybrook Point Inn to shoot with the adorable Robin Dini of Robin Dini Photography.
Here are some of the the photos I took, as a sort of sneak peek... no doubt Robin's shots will be amazing! =)
The beautiful bride Kate
Lots of perfect natural light in up in the bridal suite for makeup application AND photographs. =)
These girls were so relaxed and happy.
Almost there!
Details, details, details!
Cutie pie flower girl!
Ah, the always fun task of getting the dress all stitched up!
It was a good day for these!
I'm a sucker for bright, cheery flowers
Waiting to make her entrance
It's official!
We headed down to the docks for some bridal party portraits, and I just kept snapping. I just loved the feel of these...
JCrew here we come!
Off to enjoy their party!
More yummy details
And my favorites... everyone happy and having a BLAST! This crowd was WILD. There were times when there wasn't a single inch of dance floor available.
Awww... Dad of the bride!
And Mom of the groom
And more craziness!
Thank you Robin, as always, for having me shoot with you. It's always such a pleasure. And best of luck to the happy newlyweds, Kate & Eric! Thank you for including me in your celebration!
