Is there a bug artist loose on the Shoreline?

I kid you not.  This is a moth.  And it landed in my hallway last night.  I had to zoom and crop because I didn't want to scare him away... but it's the first time I've ever seen a bug that looks handpainted.  And it's a MOTH no less.
