The holiday season is upon us! Only one month left to order Salty Grapes Holiday Cards!

For the second year in a row, I will be offering my pooch friends special custom designed doggie holiday cards!

Click here for all the details!

They are 5x7 flat cards printed on Kodak Professional Endura Paper with a Lustre finish and include envelopes. Pricing is $1.25 per card, with a minimum of 25 (in increments of 5 thereafter) I'll be taking orders from now until December 15th to ensure they can be done in time for mailing before Christmas.

Some sample designs from which to choose:

I also do press printed people cards of course... More details are available here: Custom Holiday Card Design

Contact me if interested! :)

Designs are infinitely modifiable if you want something slightly different. And if time permits, I might whip up a few more, but no guarantees. ;)

(I can't believe I got my act together to think about Christmas BEFORE Thanksgiving. Usually, I refuse. :) )

The best laid plans...

... of bulldogs and girls? Hmmm... just a couple of notes for future reference:

1) Just because an ink pad clearly looks dark black in the store does not necessarily mean it is.

2) Just because your dog is an angel while you stamp his paw over and over does not mean he won't get a bee up his butt and have a case of the zoomies immediately thereafter...

whereupon

3) Darkish-greenish-bluish pawprints all over wood floors are easily enough cleaned with soap and water. Especially when they are "washable", "child safe," and "non-toxic" prints. But... it's not exactly FUN when they continue to reproduce maddeningly because SOMEONE thinks it's a game.

But we were at least successful!!! So I'll take this opportunity to hawk my main man's book again. :)

Be sure to check out It's Not Over 'Til It's Grover and send an email to the "star" if you wish to have a limited edition pawprint mailed to you. Thank you to everyone who has emailed Grover so far. We hope to get yours mailed ASAP! =) Definitely a labor of love... haha!

Pawtographs Available!

Public service announcement to anyone who has purchased a copy of It's Not Over 'Til It's Grover!

We've had quite a few requests for actual "pawtographs" and since orders go direct through Blurb, the Star himself is not able to actually autograph anything. :)

So we are offering special "limited edition" book plates!

If you ordered a book, or are planning on ordering one, and would like a very special stomp of approval, please send Grover an email to GroverTheBulldog at gmail dot com with your address, and we'll be happy to put one in the mail for you!

The pawprint will of course be the REAL thing... might not be as well shaped and pretty as the place holder above, but it will be authentic!

(The funniest thing is that I got my order of stickers today, and in true dingbat fashion, I actually ordered them as you see above. WITH the pawprint placeholder. I forgot to delete the layer. Duh. So I've now ordered them AGAIN. Ugh. Please some of you photographers - PLEASE tell me you've done stupid stuff like this. =) I can't believe I did that. Not to mention, I'm now stuck with 50 stickers I can't use!! Ha!)

The books are here! The books are here! Yay!

I had to test out the quality of Salty Grapes Photography's new book "It's Not Over 'Til It's Grover" and I love them! I've got a second (non-Grover related hehehe) one in the works already I'm so excited. =)

Check 'em out!

"It's Not Over 'Til It's Grover"

Nothing like a cold rainy day to get you to finish a project you've been meaning to finish for ages. =)

Salty Grapes Photography is so excited to announce that It's Not Over 'Til It's Grover, a silly look into the wit, wisdom and wackiness that is Grover the Bulldog, is now available in print!!!!

The book is available in Salty Grapes Photography's very own Blurb bookshop, which will no doubt, house many more books in the future, provided I'm happy with the quality! I will be ordering a handful of copies myself to have for various crafts fairs and whatnot, but click the badge below to check it out, complete with 10-page teaser, and order your copy today! You too can own 66 pages of Grover Goodness.

A special thank you to everyone who ordered holiday cards!

I truly, TRULY enjoyed creating these cards... I just had a blast, and I can't thank you all enough for the opportunity. =) I have four more orders coming in early this week, so if you're waiting, they're almost here!

I hope you'll remember Salty Grapes NEXT year! There will definitely be plenty of new designs!

Holiday Card Reminder!

As Christmas is fast approaching, I've been busier and busier with holiday card orders. If you plan on ordering any, please do email me right away!

I originally said Dec 15th, but I'm thinking of moving that up a bit due to shipping times.

Also, a couple new designs to share!
