"The purest and most thoughtful minds are those which love color the most." ~John Ruskin

Had a good laugh the other day when I looked up at my coat hooks and saw a veritable rainbow... it was almost too embarrassing to share, but I figured it might make a neat photo.

"Oh, to be in England, Now that April's there." ~ Robert Browning

OK, so it's not exactly April yet... but almost!

As I mentioned a few days ago, I re-worked a bunch of photos from my last trip to England and these are all from Yorkshire.

Gallery is here.

I talk to him when I'm lonesome like;
And I'm sure he understands.
When he looks at me so attentively,
And gently licks my hands;
Then he rubs his nose on my tailored clothes,
But I never say naught thereat.
For the good Lord knows I can buy more clothes,
But never a friend like that.
~W. Dayton Wedgefarth

How can anyone ever resist such a pathetic face?

Hmmm... well, what about when he has a tantrum if he doesn't get his way?

“Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.” ~ Maria Robinson

How about some mid-week randomness? Just a collection of shots I've taken this week... no real rhyme or reason. Just moving onward and upward!

Having fun with the rented wide angle at Grover's expense.

Well, I guess this one does have a reason... this is my grandmother's rosary which I believe was her mother's (my mom can correct me if I'm wrong!) My grandmother gave them to me when I was a kid. She used to have them in her dresser drawer, and I used to love the pretty "bag" (that vintage gold mesh...) I've somehow had them forever. I'm a very lapsed Catholic, still looking for answers... I was packing up some stuff the other day, and came across them and they seemed oddly comforting and much needed.

And I spent two hours cleaning out my car this weekend. My Dyson has never worked so hard. It's like new! Too bad my furry little co-pilot stinks it up and leaves behind a carpet of fur, despite a doggie blanket... hee hee.

Murphy's Irish Amber

My parents' wacky lab Murphy... he never, ever slows down. He's always on the run. His energy is limitless. And consequently, he's almost impossible to snap. =)
